I recently got fed up with myself, big time. I am just your average guy who gets up in the morning, goes to work, comes home and has one or two hobbies to be getting on with in the evenings and on the weekends (running being the main one). This is how I live my life – day after day, week after week, year after… You get the idea. Don’t get me wrong – I enjoy my life. I have a gorgeous girlfriend a caring, yet geographically remote family and lots of brilliant and sometimes inspirational friends. But you know, personally I feel I could be a little less, well… Average.

So, I’m not going to be average any longer. Well, I never wanted to be average in the first place! So I thought it was time for a change and this is where the blog comes in. I have created this blog to conduct my own miniature social experiment of sorts. I am the only subject, the world  is the ‘Field’ and what I make of the world and my life from this point on is the result. And the result get’s written down here.

I know, I know. You’re thinking that this is just going to be some boring, completely pointless diary style blog where reading about my mundane existence is almost as life ebbing as living out your own mundane life. But hopefully that is where you are wrong because I am going to facilitate the change, take opportunities, chase opportunities and actively overhaul my lifestyle. From small things like just switching off the TV, doing more exercise, and eating better to the truly spectacular and magnificent, who knows what could happen and where this will all end up?

Hopefully I have whet your appetite to follow me in my little adventure to see where this rabbit hole goes.
